Overview

You are invited to join us for a special information evening, where we will explore the potential for nuclear energy to transform our community and Australia's future.

Tarong has been identified as one of seven potential sites for nuclear power plants, pending the lifting of current restrictions. This event will feature expert speakers who will discuss the big questions surrounding nuclear energy, including safety, nuclear waste, costs, timelines, water usage and more.

The evening will feature three speakers:

  1. Honorary Associate Professor Tony Irwin, Australian National University
  2. Dr Robert Barr, Director of Electric Power Consulting
  3. Prof. Stephen Wilson, Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland

The event will be hosted by Jonathan Fisher, CEO of Cauldron Energy, as the Master of Ceremonies

This is your opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the implications of adopting nuclear energy in Tarong and to address your concerns directly to the panel.

Please submit any questions you may have in advance via the registration form to ensure they are addressed during the session.

We look forward to welcoming you to this important discussion.
