Nuclear for Australia Gains Momentum as Founder's Interview on Channel 7's Sunrise Sparks National Conversation

This morning, our founder Will Shackel appeared in Nuclear for Australia’s first Breakfast TV interview with Natalie Barr on Channel 7’s Sunrise.

You can watch the full interview on Sunrise here:

The interview was live in front of Parliament House in Canberra prior to Will’s evidence to the Senate Environment and Communications Committee

Will spoke about the need for Nuclear Energy in Australia, his letter to the Prime Minister and how the Nuclear prohibition isolates us from our partners such as the United States and China who are investing in Nuclear Energy.

In the interview, he told Nat "young people and Australians want nuclear energy to be legalised’ and "that Nuclear is the answer because unlike fossil fuels it is clean and safe and unlike renewables it is reliable and a proven solution".

The interview attracted national attention in an important preview to his senate evidence later in the day.
