Last Friday, Nuclear for Australia’s founder Will Shackel appeared on A Current Affair. The story followed his successful evidence to the Senate Environment and Communications Committee earlier in the month.

You can watch the full story on A Current Affair here:

He told journalist Pippa Bradshaw "there’s a proven solution there’s an easy solution and there’s an obvious solution and that’s called Nuclear Energy" outlining his view that "we cannot solely rely on solar and wind to power our grid’"

The story also heard from Tony Wood who is the Energy and Climate Director at the Grattan Institute who said "small scale modular reactors could be reliable, safe and affordable" and that "the best thing we can do is keep a very close watching brief on nuclear".
