20,000 Australians sign Nuclear for Australia's petition calling for nuclear power to be legalised

Nuclear for Australia, the nation’s largest grassroots movement for nuclear power is proud to announce that our petition calling for the bans on nuclear power to be lifted has surpassed 20,000 signatures.

The petition has become the largest for nuclear power in Australia's history. This milestone comes after Nuclear for Australia announced that some of the nation's leading nuclear experts Dr Adi Paterson and Jasmin Diab joined the organisation.

According to Will Shackel, founder of Nuclear for Australia:

“Australia is the only member of the G20 with a ban on nuclear power. Keeping the 90s era bans is stabbing ourselves in the foot as we try to address the energy and climate crisis."

"On behalf of the 20,000 signatories, we demand that the government explains why they continue to justify the outdated, out-of-touch and anti-scientific bans. We should have all options on the table including nuclear power."

Join thousands of Australians across the country by signing our petition to legalise Nuclear Energy.
